Here’s an excerpt from my latest post for Little Pink Book PR

The name itself happens to elicit fame.

It is notable, memorable and will never be forgotten—but that can’t all be accredited to her beloved Beatles father.

Barely even 40-years old and British designer Stella McCartney is at the top of her game, actually it’s quite possible she’s even surpassed the top.

Her extensive accomplishments include the introduction of several personal lines, numerous collaborations and becoming chief designer for the House of Chloe just two years after her college graduation. Now married, with three children and another on the way, Stella appears to have it all.

It all began in London on September 13, 1971 when Stella entered the world as the second child of former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney and his photographer wife, Linda Eastman…

It’s the moment fashion lovers (who also happen to be on a budget) live for…the release of ultra-chic and super trendy Target collaborations.

Target announced that the next designer exclusive will be with William Rast, the American sportswear label which is fronted by Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala.

The limited edition line will be launched on December 19, 2010 through January 22, 2011 and will be available both in stores as well as online at www.target.com. Fashion admirers can prepare themselves for both a men and women’s collection that will be sure to exude the brand’s signature mix of rocker-attitude and laid-back luxury.

The line is predicted to deliver stylish jeans, denim jackets and more, right into the hands of Target shoppers. Although price points for the William Rast for Target collection have yet to be released, it’s expected that they will be significantly less than the label’s designer jeans, which range from $165 to $229, and leather jackets, which cost up to $595.

Keep an eye out fashionistas…Nordstrom has recently announced its new and exclusive partnership with Robert Rodriguez.

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month Nordstrom is collaborating with the Cuban-American designer on a limited-edition shirt that will be sold solely at Nordstrom from september 15 through October 15, 2010.

38 Nordstrom locations nationwide will carry the select shirt, as well as online via nordstrom.com/hhm.

Robert Rodriguez Exclusive Shirt to Benefit Mana's Hermanitas

As many couture lovers are aware, Rodriguez is known for conveying both feminity and modernity in his pieces. True to his signature style, the shirts will feature a draped silhouette, black lace overlay and feather embellishment. They are priced to sell for $225.

And here comes the even better news…all after-cost proceeds will benefit the MANA’s HERMANITAS® program.

For nearly 20 years, the HERMANITAS® program has been known to work with its chapters and affiliates around the country to “embrace and fulfill the hopes and aspirations of Latina adolescents”.

In a release from PR Newswire, Amelia Ransom Letcher, VP of Diversity Affairs, commented that Nordstrom is, “delighted to partner with Robert Rodriguez in observance of Hispanic Heritage Month. We are proud to support MANA’s HERMANITAS® program and offer this exclusive fashion item to our customers”.

Rodriguez seems to be thrilled as well…and why wouldn’t he be? Fashion for a fabulous cause…that never goes out of style.
